The Challenge

Compupac approached Olus regarding their vision for building a more academic solution for their schools. They had an extremely robust system for providing the hardware, setting up hardware and software licences, but knew they would the academic side of their vision would prove problematic. In particular, it would be problematic when trying to scale the solution nationally.

The Solution

Olus Education's learning portals for staff and students are aligned to the computing curriculum and are learning journey focused. They include content for all computing strands (IT, digital literacy and coding) as well as training for teachers, assessment tools and more. The learning portals support the needs of each individual teacher and student in the school to best engage with the devices provided by Compupac. The learning journey for all schools focuses on establishing confidence with the device first (curriculum aligned lessons) and builds at a personalised pace for all staff and students as they engage more broadly with the computing curriculum. Olus have also supported Compupac in webinars, education events and provide marketing and schools community support.
